There's Always Next Year...

Yes, the Rosas house is in mourning today, due to the Chargers' 24-35 loss to the Steelers last night. We started strong with an extraordinary touchdown pass to my "not so secret" crush Vincent Jackson. His diving catch in the end zone was (in my mind) a prediction of how San Diego was going to kick some Pittsburgh butt! Sadly, I was wrong...and sadly, our season is over.

So we wait for another season to begin. Our sadness will slowly be replaced with excitement and hope, and the dullness in our eyes will brighten and twinkle once more. For now...we mourn. Oh, San Diego...how we feel your pain.

GO CHARGERS!!!

San Diego played the Indianapolis Colts last night, which resulted in a 23-17 nail-biting wild-card victory for the BOLTS! The Chargers wore their throwback baby blue jerseys, which I love! My Phillip Rivers jersey is the same throwback blue...they should really wear those jerseys more often. :) Anyway, the game aired at 2am here, but not staying up to watch it was not an option. Sadly, my eyes were resting during most of the game, but Rome woke me for the big plays...including the winning touchdown during overtime...thank you Darren Sproles! Needless to say, the Rosas house is on cloud 9 today. Hopefully, we'll keep the momentum throughout the playoffs...GO CHARGERS!!!
