Ahhh.....Gelato

One of my favorite treats in Italy is the gelato.....yummy! It's sweet like ice cream, but creamy like frozen custard. Gelato, however, beats the pants off ice cream and frozen custard any day. There's an assortment of delicious flavors that have yet to be disappointing. I'm not quite sure what it's made of, but in my mind it's all organic and nutritious!!

We like to visit the gelato shop in Viganovo, a small town near us. We sit on the steps of the church across the street and enjoy the surroundings. Here's a couple pics from our gelato run this evening.
